The office of Perkasa Jaya Abadi Nusantara is tucked away in the corner of the second floor, within the Wisma Kahar Duta Sarana building on Jalan Mampang Prapatan No. 6B. The outer doors are covered entirely in white paper, and the office occupies Room No. 205 on that floor. A single guard stood outside that room last Monday. No activity of any kind was apparent at that office.
This is the very office of a firm which won the tender for the troubled Qur'an procurement project linked to the Religious Affairs Ministry. At least two suspects have been named in a graft case involving this project: Golkar Party lawmaker Zulkarnaen Djabar and Dendy Prasetya, Zulkarnaen's son. The only thing that identifies the office on the second floor of the Wisma Kahar Duta Sarana building as the one linked to the Qur'an project, is a board with the name of the firm on it. "This firm is connected with the suspect, Z.D.," said Busyro Muqoddas, a deputy for the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
