THE alleged corruption on the driving simulator machines has been attracting wide attention from the public, due to the fact that it involves a high ranking police officer as well as several other individuals from the Police force. What the public found to be surprising is the Police's intervention into the case. The terms "joint investigation" uttered by Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) chief Abraham Samad is unsympathetic. That will deprive the KPK of its full-authority, making it no longer an independent, superbody institution.
